I love this flute! It has a lovely lilting tone and is easy to play! Makes happy music! Great quality. The size is perfect. Highly recommend this one!

This is my second Willow Creek Journey flute. A few weeks earlier I purchased the low D minor even though I am a beginner and petite. But I was encouraged by Jonny’s video about these flutes and took a chance. It proved to be the perfect flute for me—fingering/length similar to my Butch Hall Two Feathers G minor, the design/craftsmanship and, most of all, the rich sound and exquisite wood patterns. So when I spotted the Willow Creek Journey E-flat on sale, I seized the opportunity and am just as pleased. My flute journey started 6 weeks ago. I know it’s far from over but it’s certainly much more balanced, from mid A minor to low D minor.

Soft and works great

We Attended 2024 Summit without totally knowing what the experience would be for us. We were overwhelmed by the fellowship of all stages of flute playing making music in a new way. I missed being able to get last year’s Signature Flute so I jumped on the order as soon as I could this year.
I love everything about it. I grew up in WV so mountains mean a lot to me. We also winter in AZ and are close to the Superstition Mts there. They call to me! So naturally I loved the mountain block. I love the contrast between the maple and the walnut accents and I love the tigers eye cabochon. Tigers eye has great energy.
Last but not least I love the tonality of this flute. I’ve never had a B flat before, and it has a wonderful sound. I am so glad I was able to get it this year. I also love the bag that came with the flute.

Well made, good protection

Beginning Your Journey [e-course]

I just received my scout case it is a heavy duty case that seems like it will give good protection for my flute. I have a large bore bass flute and was having a hard time finding a case for it. The large scout case was perfect for it also I asked Johnny if he could make the case without the wool rap in my opinion I think it looks better without it.

Love that they are offered in different sizes (I now have two) and the flutes are secured by way of cord locks. The fleece provides a nice layer when I store them together in their own bags.
