Perfect!

I love this flute. It is so easy to play for someone with small hands and has a warm robust tone. The air flow is great. I have several of Peter Churcher's flutes and highly recommend them.

Great little travel flute

I love the pure tone of this flute! It is also really beautiful to look at. The wood pattern is striking. I got the medium low Eb. I’m very happy with this purchase.

For a low-ish flute, it fits my small-ish hands well. As with my other medium-low flutes, the holes are somewhat large and I need to play carefully to cover them completely.

As Jonny mentioned in his review, it doesn’t ask the player for a lot of air on the high notes. Played gently, it is a truly beautiful-sounding flute.

I wouldn’t call it a Native-style flute, because there is no slow air chamber or block. It is more a whistle. That was made clear in the description, but somehow I missed that and was expecting the traditional style Native flute. But my disappointment only lasted a few minutes-it is a very useful addition to my collection. I’m probably going to take it on a trip to California next month.

The main thing is, it is about the same length as my G flutes, but has that low sound I love. I’m glad to have a medium low flute I can take traveling.
